About This Coffee

A Caturra variety coffee from the municipality of Planadas in the Tolima department of Colombia, grown at approximately 1600 meters at the foot of the Nevado del Huila volcano. Organically certified. Fully washed process: cherries are pulped, fermented for 18–24 hours, washed, and dried for approximately two weeks, followed by short machine drying for homogeneous residual moisture. Caturra is a development of the classic Bourbon variety. Flavor notes include walnut, cocoa, and plum, with a balanced, low-acid character and balanced sweetness.
