Radiant Winter Blend

Radiant Winter Blend

Detour Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This winter blend combines two components: a honey-processed Cataui from Costa Rica's Tarrazu region at 1650-2100 meters altitude, and a natural-processed field blend from Honduras Cabanas Los Planes. The Costa Rican component features coffee from steep slopes that protect crops from Atlantic weather while allowing Pacific ocean breezes. The cherries were de-pulped mechanically and dried at high elevations. The Honduras component is a field blend of mostly Lempira, Catuai, and Pache varieties, naturally processed and dried on African raised beds for 20 days. The blend is part of the Cabanas Rise Series supporting smaller producing communities in Honduras through Beneficio San Vicente.
