This is a peaberry coffee from Rwanda, produced by Rwamatamu Coffee - a family business owned and operated by Mukantwaza Laetitia and Rutaganda Gaston. The coffee is washed processed, with cherries sorted for defects before pulping, fermented for 8-12 hours, and dried on raised beds for 17-25 days until reaching 11% moisture. The result is a high-scoring coffee with notes of redcurrant, black tea, and caramel.
Based in Belfast, Northern Ireland, this roastery is committed to sourcing and roasting the best possible coffee, fostering relationships from producer to consumer.
