A single-origin coffee from Ratnagiri Estate, located near Bababudangiri in the Western Ghats of India. The estate spans 117 hectares and has been family-run by the Patre family since 1927, producing shade-grown coffee intercropped with pepper. This lot undergoes a 48-hour anaerobic fermentation using lab-cultured microbes developed by producer Ashok Patre. The cup is noted for elegance and aromatic clarity, with flavor notes of rosewater, lychee, squash melons, and watermelon. Certified Rainforest Alliance and sold as Direct Trade.
