About This Coffee

This is a single origin coffee from Colombia, specifically from the Risaralda region in the heart of Colombia's coffee landscape. The coffee is grown at Finca La Rivera in Santa Rosa de Cabal at an altitude of 1,600-1,700 meters. The beans are Castillo and Caturra varieties, harvested between September-December and May-July. The coffee is processed using the Black Honey method, where the beans are dried with a significant amount of mucilage remaining, creating a sweeter and fuller cup. The flavor profile features tropical fruit, cola, and strawberry notes with a wine-like, sweet, and pleasantly acidic citrus character.
