About This Coffee

This coffee originates from the Bugisu sub-region on the slopes of Mt. Elgon in Eastern Uganda, grown at elevations between 1,400 and 2,200 meters. The varieties are SL-14 and SL-28, processed using a fully washed method. It is a medium roast with a smooth body and winey acidity. Flavor notes include green grapes, sweet oranges, plums, black tea, wine, and dried figs. As an espresso, it presents aromas of orange zest and sweet grapes, with hints of woodsiness, mellowing to chocolate and figs as it cools.
