About This Coffee

Violeta is an anaerobic natural processed Catuai variety from Abu Coffee, produced by José Luttrell in the Boquete, Chiriquí region of Panama at 1550 masl. Abu Coffee is named in honor of José Guillermo Luttrell Tedman, a third-generation coffee producer from the Cañas Verdes region of Boquete. This lot (TN-24) scored 88.75 and offers a sparkly, winey cup with tropical fruit aromas transitioning to a sweet lingering finish with tasting notes of cacao nibs, blackcurrant, kiwi, and dark chocolate.
