VOLCAN AZUL H3

The Barn

About This Coffee

This coffee is from the West Valley region of Costa Rica, grown at the Volcan Azul estate at 1550 meters altitude by producer Alejo Castro Kahle. It features the H3 varietal, a hybrid of Ethiopian heirloom and Caturra. The coffee is processed using a warm anaerobic method, where cherries are exposed to higher temperatures during fermentation. This results in a funky profile with blueberry and fig sweetness. The coffee is roasted for filter brewing.
