Wachile Garse is a coffee from Ethiopia, named after two neighboring villages, Washile and Garse. It is produced at a processing station built in 2011, where 110 local producers deliver their coffee cherries. The cherries are hand-sorted and placed on raised beds to ferment slowly in the warm sun, covered during extreme temperatures. This natural processing method develops sweet, berry jam-like flavor notes in the cup.
