About This Coffee

Volcán Azul is a natural-processed Costa Rican coffee from the West Valley region, grown at 1400-1500 meters altitude on the edges of the Poás Volcano. This Caturra variety coffee is produced by Alejo Castro Kahle, a family-run farm with five generations of coffee expertise. The coffee offers notes of dried fig, blueberry, and apricot with a balanced sweetness, developing fragrant vanilla and lavender as it cools, with defined complexity characteristic of the farm.
