Colombia Java Washed | Finca Patio Bonito

This is a single origin coffee from Finca Patio Bonito in Pitalito, Huila, Colombia, grown at 1700 meters altitude. The coffee is Java variety, processed using the washed method. The farm is family-run by Carlos Arturo Trujillo, who has farmed coffee for almost 50 years, supported by his daughter Paola Trujillo who returned in 2022 and introduced improved fermentation techniques including anaerobic adjustments and thermal shock processing. The farm totals 11 hectares with 9 hectares planted to coffee, growing 13 different varieties. Flavor notes include floral, candied kumquat, and raspberry. This is a filter roast only.
