CoricaAbout This Coffee
This exceptional lot from Finca Puerto Alegre in the Quindio region of Colombia is grown at 1450 meters altitude in the shade of Leucaena trees. The Gesha variety cherries are hand-picked at peak ripeness and undergo a 60 to 72-hour carbonic maceration process in airtight barrels. This technique intensifies the coffee's natural characteristics, resulting in a complex cup with fruity and floral notes. The flavor profile features peach, raspberry, honey, and umami, offering an ultra-gourmand experience with a lasting honey sweetness.

Corica
Corica's story spans over 170 years, beginning in 1850 in Brussels where the Wulleman family established their first roastery. From 2011 onwards, Marie Helene Callewaert and her son took the helm, becoming the third generation of roasters in this storied lineage. Today, Corica represents continuity and evolution in Belgian coffee culture, offering strictly selected and organically certified coffees roasted artisanally with modern equipment. Their workshop near Brussels' Grand Place showcases expertise built across decades, with their process enhancing the aromas of 28 Arabica varieties while maintaining an unwavering commitment to taste and quality.
