This organic coffee is produced by Merly Leon on her 2.5-hectare farm El Churaz in the highlands of Cajamarca, Peru at 2250 meters altitude. The variety is Bourbon. The farm benefits from abundant sunshine and cool nighttime temperatures ideal for specialty coffee production. Merly Leon works with her cooperative, Aroma del Valle, to produce micro-lots gaining international recognition. Tasting notes include black cherry, dark chocolate, and yuzu. Caffenation
A pioneer of the Belgian specialty coffee scene, Caffenation was founded by Rob Berghmans in Antwerp in 2003.
