This coffee is from the Gasura washing station in Kirundo, Burundi, produced by Angele Ciza and local smallholders. Grown at 1,400–1,800 masl from Red Bourbon, it is processed as a washed (WX) lot with a 14-hour fermentation, washed and dried on raised beds. The cup shows almond, black tea and honey with apricot and raisin aftertaste, lime/citric acidity and a juicy, light body; roasted and optimized for espresso.
