Ethiopia-Gesha Village-Shewa Jibabu-Gori Gesha Natural
R Ki Coffee LabAbout This Coffee
This coffee comes from Gesha Village, a 471-hectare farm in the Bench Maji zone of Ethiopia, near the town of Gesha and the Gori Gesha forest — the birthplace of the Gesha variety. The Shewa-Jibabu block, named after a nearby mountain, produces this Gori Gesha lot. The coffee is fermented for 80 hours whole cherry in a sealed plastic tank with the addition of mossto, then dried for 30 days on raised beds under the sun. The farm uses agroforestry practices with natural forest shade and brown-red loamy virgin forest soil.
