Keiko

About This Coffee

Keiko is a blend featuring two washed Ethiopian coffees: Abdo Abamacha and Bekele Belachew Haro Genet. This blend combines the structured clarity of washed processing with the layered depth of anaerobic fermentation. It offers a floral and expressive profile with notes of jasmine, white peach, apricot, and white chocolate, finishing with a smooth walnut-like quality. Designed to balance fruit-forward sweetness with clean acidity, it is suitable for both espresso and milk-based preparations.

Arkib Kopi

Arkib Kopi was founded in 2018 by Helmi, a certified Q grader whose training in Japan shaped both his palate and his approach to presentation. The roastery operates from its "Ibu Sawat" (Mothership) facility in Kuala Lumpur, housing a custom 1kg machine alongside a 15kg Cogen roaster for production batches. Sourcing follows a dual model: direct trade with producers to secure top lots and a sustainable partnership with Falcon Coffee Trader that prioritizes social and environmental impact. The lineup is organized into three collections, FANSI for omni roast, RUTIN for filter, and MANIS for espresso, each highlighting seasonal origins from Rwanda, Panama, Indonesia, and Brazil. Arkib also runs weekend public cupping sessions at its flagship, reinforcing its role as a community hub for specialty coffee education in Malaysia.
