About This Coffee

This is a Gesha variety coffee from Panama, grown at Longboard Coffee plantations in the Boquete region at 1600 meters altitude. The coffee is washed processed and harvested in 2023. Longboard Coffee operates three small plantations in Boquete including Misty Mountain and Windy Ridge, both located in premium growing regions. The farms are managed without chemical fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides or herbicides, embracing permaculture and biodynamic principles. Cherries are harvested at peak maturity with meticulous attention to detail. The coffee features flavor notes of bergamot, honey, and lime with a juicy and bright profile.

Seth Taylor Coffee

Seth Taylor put his own name on this Montreal micro roastery, establishing a personal, hands on approach that extends from direct relationships with producers to origin travel and intimate cuppings. Starting as a pop up before settling in Mile End, the operation remains deliberately small, with limited production runs that prioritize quality over volume. Roasting is done in small batches with light to medium profiles showcasing origins from Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya, and El Salvador. The roastery primarily operates as a production facility rather than a bustling cafe, supplying select Montreal specialty cafes through a focused wholesale program. A subscription service with personalized selections reflects Seth's belief that coffee is best when it carries the personal touch of someone who genuinely cares about every step.
