About This Coffee

This coffee comes from Farm El Porvenir in Tambo, Cauca, Colombia, grown at 2150 meters altitude by producer Pedro Fabian. The variety is Wush Wush, a rare Ethiopian heirloom known for its floral intensity and elegance. The coffee is fully washed processed and dried on raised beds, with harvest in March using manual picking. It features volcanic soils that contribute to its mineral richness, sweetness, and layered complexity. The cup profile showcases floral perfume notes of orange blossom and jasmine, fine citrus acidity reminiscent of bergamot, silky tea-like body, subtle honey sweetness, and a refined, lingering finish.

Way Coffee Roasters

WAY Coffee Roasters was founded in Ghent in 2013 by Charlene De Buysere and Stoffel Vandenabeele, making them pioneers of the city's specialty coffee movement. Their roasting philosophy is centered on transparency and celebrating the bean's origin, which is why they prefer lighter roasts. This method allows the nuanced and delicate flavors developed at the farm level to truly shine through.
