Scenery Coffee Roasters

About This Coffee

This coffee is a Gesha variety from the El Bocadillo farm in the Agua de Dios region of Casabianca, Northern Tolima, Colombia. Grown at 1900 meters altitude, it undergoes an anoxic natural process, involving 72 hours of fermentation in a sealed vessel followed by 45 days of slow solar drying. The flavor profile is dense and process-forward, featuring notes of blueberry jam, ripe mango, lemon zest, caramelized peach, passionfruit, and a rich sherry-like boozy note, with white chocolate and berry compote on the finish.

Scenery Coffee Roasters

Scenery Coffee Roasters was founded in London in 2023 by a trio with a combined three decades of experience in the specialty coffee industry. They roast on a Loring S35, producing on set days and holding coffee in airtight bulk storage before bagging, a workflow designed around freshness and consistency. Sourcing is forward looking: Scenery works with importers to purchase coffee early while it is still at origin, releasing lots as they land in the UK. All furniture in the space is upcycled, and the approach to materials follows the same minimal intervention philosophy that guides the roasting. Scenery was named a Sprudge Notable Roaster for 2025 and won Sprudge Best Design/Packaging in 2024.
