Kenya - Kii
Terminal 3About This Coffee
This coffee comes from the Kii factory, managed by the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society in the Gichugu Division, Kirinyaga region of Kenya. The cooperative serves around 1,215 active farmer members who cultivate coffee at altitudes between 1600-1900 meters above sea level. The average farmer tends to about 400 coffee trees across roughly 1/3 of a hectare. The coffee varieties include Batian, SL-28, SL-34, and Ruiru-11, all Arabica species. It is processed using the washed method. The flavor profile features notes of tomato juice, grapefruit, and papaya, with floral notes emerging as it cools. This light roast coffee is recommended for pour over, drip, and French press brewing methods.

Terminal 3
Terminal 3, operating under the name T3 Roasters, was founded in 2021 in Toronto by Mo Alzatmah and Horlick Ng. The travel and aviation theme frames coffee as a journey of global discovery, with coffee names referencing destinations and an interior styled with vintage travel posters and maps. They roast medium profiles across diverse origins from Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya, Brazil, and Indonesia. The philosophy is that coffee connects people to places they have never been, and every cup is treated as a kind of departure gate.
