La Coipa is a community lot from San Ignacio in northern Peru. It is a blend of day lots made up of Bourbon and Catuai varieties from several farmers in the area. This filter roast coffee features flavor notes of blackberries and lemon verbena with an underlying caramel-like texture and sweetness. The lot is noted for its cleanliness and slightly fruity character. The coffee is sourced through Falcon Coffees Peru, which works with 275 producers who receive immediate cup scores and offer prices for their parchment.
