Malabar Monsooned, Indien
Murnauer KaffeeröstereiAbout This Coffee
A single-origin coffee from the Malabar region of India, one of the country's earliest coffee-growing areas. This 100% Arabica coffee — comprising Catimor, Kent, and Selection 9 varieties — is grown at altitudes between 600 and 2,000 meters. It undergoes the traditional "monsooning" process, where the beans are exposed to monsoon rain and humidity, resulting in a characteristic yellow color. The processing yields a full-bodied, powerful, and spicy cup with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, and spices. Particularly recommended for espresso preparation.
