Malabar Monsooned, Indien

Murnauer Kaffeerösterei

About This Coffee

A single-origin coffee from the Malabar region of India, one of the country's earliest coffee-growing areas. This 100% Arabica coffee features varieties Catimor, Kent, and Selection 9, grown at altitudes between 600 and 2,000 meters. It undergoes monsooning processing — exposure to monsoon rain — giving the beans their characteristic yellow color. The resulting cup is full-bodied, robust, and spicy, with notes of dark chocolate, nuts, and spices. Particularly recommended for espresso preparation, delivering an exceptional crema.
