About This Coffee

A bold and spicy all-rounder blend combining organic coffees from three continents: 75% Bio Arabica from Peru and Ethiopia, and 25% Bio Robusta from India. The Peruvian Arabica comes from the Lamas Province in northeastern Peru, sourced from the Oro Verde cooperative. The Ethiopian Arabica originates from the western highlands, sourced from smallholder farmers via the ECX exchange. The Indian Robusta grows in Karnataka and Kerala in southern India. Roasted using a long drum-roasting process. Flavor notes include chocolate, exotic fruit, and a subtle woody note with mild acidity. Pairs especially well with milk.

earlybird coffee

earlybird coffee is a Stuttgart-based roaster founded by Merlin Stellwag and Emanuel Vonarx with a simple motto: "Hello good life." Their mission is to prove that high-quality, organic coffee doesn't have to be complicated or expensive — it should be accessible to anyone who wants to upgrade their daily cup at home. All their coffees are roasted using the slow drum-roasting method at low temperatures (170–210°C) for 16 to 22 minutes, carefully dissolving harsh acids while preserving full aroma. They prioritize organic and Fairtrade-certified beans with less than 1% defects, and their coffees are available nationwide through dm drugstore markets as well as their online shop. It's specialty quality made simple, honest, and approachable.
