About This Coffee

A blend of three organic Arabica coffees from Ethiopia, Peru, and Indonesia. The Ethiopian component (Limu) is described as complex, exotic, and fruity. The Peruvian beans come from the Lamas Province (Oro Verde cooperative) and offer a strong aromatic profile with delicate acidity. The Indonesian Arabica originates from Aceh (North Sumatra), sourced from the Kopsen Petani Kopi Gayo cooperative, contributing a full body with low acidity. Roasted using a gentle drum roasting method for a lighter, less bitter result with mild, nutty flavor characteristics. Suitable for all filter brewing methods.

earlybird coffee

earlybird coffee is a Stuttgart-based roaster founded by Merlin Stellwag and Emanuel Vonarx with a simple motto: "Hello good life." Their mission is to prove that high-quality, organic coffee doesn't have to be complicated or expensive — it should be accessible to anyone who wants to upgrade their daily cup at home. All their coffees are roasted using the slow drum-roasting method at low temperatures (170–210°C) for 16 to 22 minutes, carefully dissolving harsh acids while preserving full aroma. They prioritize organic and Fairtrade-certified beans with less than 1% defects, and their coffees are available nationwide through dm drugstore markets as well as their online shop. It's specialty quality made simple, honest, and approachable.
