Moody Coffee Roasters

Ian and Georgina Dove, a British couple drawn to the French Alps, founded Moody Coffee Roasters in 2014 in Chamonix, starting with a humble 1 kilogram Probatino roaster. Their cafe opened in 2017 at 195 Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, quickly becoming a gathering spot for the town's trail running community and outdoor enthusiasts. The roastery has grown alongside their culinary ambitions, which also include the Couloir restaurant next door. Moody's offerings extend beyond coffee to include vegan and gluten free baked goods, reflecting the health conscious culture of their alpine surroundings. What started as a small passion project in the shadow of Mont Blanc has become an essential part of Chamonix's specialty coffee identity.
