About This Coffee

Ethiopia Lalesa is a naturally processed single-origin coffee from the Gedeb region, sourced from smallholder farmers and processed at the Lalesa washing and drying station operated by Ephtah Specialty Coffee. Grown under Ensete (false banana) shade at 2,150–2,200 m a.s.l., the coffee features traditional Ethiopian heirloom varieties. Cherries are hand-sorted, float-graded, and dried on raised beds for 12–15 days. Tasting notes include blueberry cheesecake and lime. Roasted as whole bean for filter brewing methods including V60, AeroPress, Chemex, and French press.

RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. What started as a small family business with dad roasting and mom tasting while the kids watched has grown to a team of over 10 people with a Prague showroom opening in Bubenč. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world. Their Mothership espresso blend has become beloved by baristas and home enthusiasts for its full creamy body and milk chocolate flavor.
