Gititu is a washed Kenyan coffee from Kiambu, Kenya, grown at about 1,750 meters above sea level. The lot combines varieties SL-28, SL-34, Batian, and Ruiru 11, harvested December 2024 and washed after an overnight dry fermentation. Tasting notes listed include currant, boysenberry, blackberry, candied plum, goji, melon, citrus blossom, honey, and pineapple, with a bright, clean profile.

The operation runs out of Oakland, focusing on limited releases rather than a permanent lineup. Yoder roasts light but fully developed targeting clarity, and sources directly from farmers. The emphasis on farmer compensation and ongoing dialogue with producing partners shapes both the selection and the pricing. Coffees are curated for cleanliness, vibrancy, and origin expression, with lots from Ethiopia, Kenya, Burundi, Colombia, or Ecuador appearing frequently.
