About This Coffee

This coffee is a Kenya AB from the Karogoto washing station in Nyeri, central Kenya, grown on the slopes of Mount Kenya at 1700 meters altitude. It is produced by approximately 1800 smallholder farmers of the Tekangu cooperative and processed using the washed method. Varieties include Batian, Ruiru II, SL-28, and SL-34. Light roasted and ideal for filter brewing, it delivers a delicate and fruity cup with notes of forest fruits, plums, and white sugar.

Moody Coffee Roasters

Ian and Georgina Dove, a British couple drawn to the French Alps, founded Moody Coffee Roasters in 2014 in Chamonix, starting with a humble 1 kilogram Probatino roaster. Their cafe opened in 2017 at 195 Avenue de l'Aiguille du Midi, quickly becoming a gathering spot for the town's trail running community and outdoor enthusiasts.
