About This Coffee

A washed peaberry coffee from the Riakiberu Coffee Factory in the Kamacharia area of Murang'a district, Kenya, grown at 1,400 meters altitude. Produced by approximately 700 smallholder farmers united under the Kamacharia Farmers Cooperative Society. The varieties are SL-28 and SL-34, known for their fruitiness and vibrant acidity. Flavor notes include raspberry, hibiscus tea, and sea buckthorn jam. Recommended for all filter brewing methods.

RepublicThis Ostrava based family roastery was founded in 2017 by husband and wife duo Petr and Marie, who previously worked as baristas at Berlin's Five Elephant cafe. What started as a small family business with dad roasting and mom tasting while the kids watched has grown to a team of over 10 people with a Prague showroom opening in Bubenč. They roast on an American made five pound Diedrich IR-5 roaster with quality as their number one priority, offering regularly rotating harvests from around the world. Their Mothership espresso blend has become beloved by baristas and home enthusiasts for its full creamy body and milk chocolate flavor.
