This coffee is from the Mil Cumbres boutique farm located in the Cordillera region of Chiriquí, Panama, near Volcán. The farm sits at elevations between 1,600 and 2,000 meters, benefiting from volcanic soil as part of the Baru Volcano National Park. It is a San Ramón variety processed using the natural method. The coffee features flavor notes of cola, raspberry, panela, juicy passionfruit, red grape, jasmine florals, and panela sweetness. It has medium body and balanced acidity. The farm was established in 2019 by Mario Fonseca and Arturo Klein, with coffee production managed by Ratibor Hartmann, using biologically friendly production methods.
