About This Coffee

A single-origin coffee from Peru's Cajamarca region, produced by the Cenfrocafe cooperative located in northern Peru (Huabal, San Ignacio, Jaen, Chirinos, and San Jose de Lourdes areas). Grown at 1,600–1,700 meters altitude, the coffee features Caturra, Bourbon, and Typica varieties processed using the washed method. Certified organic and fair trade. The cup profile is round and chocolatey with notes of dark chocolate, fig, and black tea, plus hazelnut and panela. It has a powerful body and pleasant sweetness, recommended especially for espresso.
