This single origin coffee from Riverdale Estate in Yercaud, India is produced by the Balaraman brothers. The lot, called White Rose Natural, uses only the densest cherries selected from higher-altitude plots with measured sugar levels to ensure optimal ripeness. The cherries are triple-washed with spring water, then fermented with rose petals before a long, slow dry on raised beds. This SL9 variety coffee exhibits floral and tropical notes with rose hips and rose-water-like aromatics that become more defined as the coffee ages. The flavor profile includes gentle spice, a savory undertone, and a softly creamy texture with notes of guava, mixed berry compote, and praline.
