LAS NUBES

About This Coffee

LAS NUBES is a single-origin coffee from Finca Las Nubes in the Tarrazú region of Costa Rica, located approximately 1,900 meters above sea level near Santa María de Dota. Produced by Roberto Mata Naranjo and his son Michael, the farm spans about four hectares and is managed using regenerative practices with shade trees including bananas and Poró. The coffee is 100% Caturra variety, washed processed with controlled fermentation and dried on raised beds under shade. Roasted as a filter coffee, it offers aromas of dried red grape and light nougat, with a balanced, medium-bodied cup featuring winey acidity, nutty sweetness, and a lingering finish of rooibos and light caramelization.
