About This Coffee

This single-origin Ethiopian coffee comes from the Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm in the Guji zone of the Shakiso district, Oromia region, located 510 kilometers south of Addis Ababa. The farm spans 500 hectares with 300 dedicated to coffee cultivation, owned and managed by Ismael Hassen Aredo and his family since 2012. The coffee is grown at 1900-2200 meters above sea level using shade cultivation with acacia and indigenous trees. It is a natural processed, Grade 1 Arabica coffee featuring varieties 74110 and 74112. The light roast offers flavor notes of lemon, floral, milk chocolate, and brown sugar. It is particularly well-suited for straight espresso as well as milk-based drinks like cortado, cappuccino, and latte.

Terminal 3

Terminal 3, operating under the name T3 Roasters, was founded in 2021 in Toronto by Mo Alzatmah and Horlick Ng. The travel and aviation theme frames coffee as a journey of global discovery, with coffee names referencing destinations and an interior styled with vintage travel posters and maps. They roast medium profiles across diverse origins from Ethiopia, Colombia, Guatemala, Kenya, Brazil, and Indonesia. The philosophy is that coffee connects people to places they have never been, and every cup is treated as a kind of departure gate.
