Hermetic Coffee Roasters

Hermetic Coffee Roasters is a specialty roastery and café tucked into Hamburg's Sternstraße in the Schanze neighborhood, operating under the guiding principle of "unrestricted openness." They celebrate the diversity of coffee by offering a rotating selection of carefully roasted single origins and blends, plus an array of brewing equipment and accessories. The café sits inside a graffiti-covered old industrial building, creating a cozy yet edgy atmosphere that's become a local favorite for flat whites, cold brews, and signature drinks. They roast to order weekly — orders placed by Sunday are roasted Monday and shipped Tuesday — ensuring peak freshness. For anyone exploring Hamburg's third-wave scene, Hermetic is an essential and characterful stop.
