Isla de Célebes (Sulawesi) Enrekang Rodo Rodo
Almanegra CaféAbout This Coffee
This coffee originates from Rodo Rodo, a small village on the steep slopes of Gunung Latimojong — the highest mountain in Sulawesi, Indonesia — at an altitude of 1,400 to 1,800 meters above sea level. Grown organically in the Enrekang region, the coffee is cultivated alongside goat farming, avoiding pesticides. The varieties are Typica and S-795. It is processed using the Giling Basah (wet-hulled) method, typical of Indonesian coffees. The flavor profile features intense notes of herbs, earth, and spices with mild acidity, high sweetness, light fruit character, and notes of cereal, brown sugar, banana pudding, and melon.
