About This Coffee

A Kenya AA Top coffee from the Kirinyaga region near Mt. Kenya, processed at the Muchagara factory of the Rungeto cooperative. Grown at 1,700–1,800 meters altitude on volcanic soil, the SL-28 and SL-34 varieties are washed processed: cherries are sorted, fermented overnight, washed, and dried on raised beds for 15–21 days. Flavor profile includes rosehip, red fruits, rhubarb, blackcurrant, black tea, and citrus, with a juicy, complex, and intense acidity and a medium body.
