Rancho Grande

About This Coffee

A single-origin coffee from Fazenda Rancho Grande, located in the Sul de Minas region near Três Pontas, Minas Gerais, Brazil. Founded in 1933 by Aneite Reis and now run by Jose Carlos and Flavio "Fafa" Reis. The coffee is grown with varieties Acaia, Mundo Novo, and Yellow Bourbon, and processed using an experimental natural method called Manga Larga — involving anaerobic fermentation in static drying boxes followed by 11 days of slow controlled-temperature drying. Flavor notes include milk chocolate, apricot, and cashew butter.

Kmen Coffee Roasters

Opened at the end of 2021 in České Budějovice by a group of friends, they roast on a 15kg Giesen machine in an open space roastery with espresso bar, featuring flowery herbarium like packaging that represents the flavor profiles. Head roaster Petr brings years of experience. Their coffee is known for floral and fruity notes, and they've opened their first espresso bar at Budějovice train station. The team values diversity in coffee, rejecting the notion of one right taste.
