Klatch Coffee

Klatch Coffee was founded in 1993 by Mike Perry in Upland, California, and has grown from a single retail location into one of Southern California's most recognized specialty roasters. The company practices direct trade, buying from growers and paying two to three times the Fair Trade minimum based on cup quality, with a portion of each pound going to community programs in producing regions. In 2007, Klatch won the World's Best Espresso title, and the company holds Rainforest Alliance certification alongside organic and fair trade options. Over 80 percent of its coffees reviewed by Coffee Review have scored 90 points or above. More than thirty years in, Klatch remains family owned and continues to operate multiple café locations across Southern California.
